Every Mother's Story Matters

For the past several weeks, the Lord has been stirring something in my heart that I can’t ignore.

As the founder of The Promise Organization, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside mothers from many different backgrounds. I’ve celebrated new life, sat with families through unimaginable loss, and witnessed incredible resilience.

But recently, one question has continued to echo in my spirit:

What about the mothers we don’t always hear about?

What about the woman facing infertility?

The mother who has endured multiple miscarriages?

The family navigating an ectopic pregnancy?

The woman who has invested everything into IVF and still longs to hold a child?

The mother who delivered a stillborn baby.

The parents grieving the loss of an infant.

These stories matter too.

Maternal health is more than statistics. Every number represents a person. Every diagnosis represents a family. Every mother deserves to be seen, heard, and supported.

This August, as I remember my daughter Malayah on her birthday, I find myself reflecting on how grief can shape our purpose. While I don’t have all the answers, I do know this: I want to spend time listening.

Over the coming months, I hope to meet with women who are willing to share their journeys the joys, the heartbreaks, the questions, and the hope. My goal is not to speak for them but to learn from them, advocate alongside them, and better understand where support is still needed.

I believe every mother’s journey has value, and every story deserves compassion.

If you have a story and feel comfortable sharing it, I would be honored to listen.

Sometimes meaningful change begins with one conversation.

And I believe this is just the beginning.
