This Generation, is an initiative of The Promise Organization, empowers youth ages 15–25, especially those aging out of foster care or experiencing homelessness in Lorain and Cuyahoga Counties in the state of Ohio. We address urgent needs through food assistance, clothing and hygiene kits, temporary shelter support, mental wellness services, and transportation.

A Safe Haven for Youth in Transition

Each year, over 23,000 U.S. youth age out of foster care, and within 18 months, up to 50% face homelessness. In Ohio, more than 3,000 youth experience homelessness annually—many without stability, support, or a safe place to sleep.
In Lorain County and Greater Cleveland, housing options for these young people are scarce, leaving many vulnerable and alone.

The Promise Organization is launching Foundation Homes—transitional housing for ages 18–24 aging out of foster care or experiencing homelessness. Our goal is to raise $985,000 to renovate a safe, structured facility that will provide 12–20 young adults with stability, growth, and healing.

From One Mother to Another.

Mother To Mother was born from my own journey as a young mother facing life’s hardest moments with little support. I know the struggles, heartbreak, and silent battles many women endure.
This initiative ensures no woman suffers alone and no child goes without. We walk alongside women in crisis—offering practical help, genuine hope, and a caring community. Our support includes:

Emergency aid for food, hygiene, transportation, and rent

Social, educational, and creative opportunities for women and children

Healing workshops and faith-based support

Burial and mourning assistance for mothers who have lost a child
That last mission is deeply personal—I know the pain of losing my daughter, #Malayah #S #Rivera. From that loss came purpose: to stand with grieving mothers so no one walks through loss alone.
